A poor young man named Warren is desperately working for one of the Blackest of companies within his star system to help get his family off the satellite colony that they are currently living on.

Warren is now a company asset, little different from a slave, and is forced to do any work from his overlords and corporate masters.

He, along with the crew he works with, has now been assigned to a dangerous, unknown mission to retrieve a sample floating in space aboard a darleck spaceship.
