Synopsis

Three hundred years ago, Ushinau Subete was a young samurai who lost everything when his clan was slaughtered during the fall of the Edo era. Desperate to protect what remained of his life, he prayed for power at a forbidden mountain shrine—and was cursed instead.

Now in 2096 Tokyo, Ushinau is trapped in the body of a middle-schooler who cannot age, die, or be remembered. Every person who grows close to him slowly forgets he ever existed, leaving him to repeat a lonely life across centuries.

Forced into school once again, Ushinau endures a world that constantly erases him. But when a transfer student named Hiroka proves immune to the curse, he faces a painful choice: risk the first real connection he’s had in centuries, or push them away before the shrine’s curse destroys it too.

"You wished to never lose anything again…so I took your ability to change."
