That night, the café au lait was slowly cooling down. The owner of the room made a mug of café au lait as soon as he came home in the evening, but after taking a sip, he went to take a shower and went straight to bed. First thing tomorrow morning, the master of the room would abandon him. Maybe he would take just one more sip. But then again, he would probably raise an eyebrow at the overnight café au lait and turn the mug upside down. The coffee, milk, and sugar inside of him will be unnecessary tomorrow.
