After successfully escaping her dark past, "Lilli" Lilith Smith is working at her dream job as a preschool teacher.

Her days are now filled with color, laughter, cute little children, and she couldn't be happier.

One day, after meeting the Principal, things begin to turn...strange.

No one can leave, phones and the internet no longer work, and new rules are delivered by the principal through the PA system.

When the rules are broken, dire consequences are swiftly meted out, with death being the least of one's concerns.

Freedom is now an illusion; strange things roam the halls; the once-safe school is marked by loss; and Lilli has to figure out how to keep not just herself but her students alive and find a way to safety.

And during her darkest hour, after an unexpected betrayal, help arrives in the form of a mysterious group that seems to know what is going on.
