Megumi Ichinose (16) is the top student in her class – a nerd with twin tails, rectangular glasses, and an undying curiosity. She’s friendly and outspoken, willing to help everyone, except for bullies.

Megumi’s life changes when a handsome but unsettling transfer student, Gorō Shimura (17), is seated next to her. Intrigued from the start, Megumi’s curiosity turns into admiration when Gorō effortlessly puts the class bullies in their place. Although he’s a class-repeating delinquent, Megumi can’t help being drawn to him.

As Megumi begins helping Gorō with his studies, they discover a shared interest in bikes and crime novels, and Gorō shows an unexpected softness beneath his cold exterior.

But Gorō’s past is darker than Megumi imagined: a year in juvie and the life of a bike gang leader. Can Megumi reconcile with this fact and accept her blossoming feelings for Gorō, who belongs to a world far removed from her own?
