Synopsis

Born into a world that never offered a kind glance, a boy’s childhood is stolen at nine, chained to a decade of brutal labor as a prisoner of war. For the crime of choosing life over a suicide mission, he is left to rot in a lightless cell. As he finally surrenders to a drowning death, he discovers it is not an end, but a descent. He has entered an eternal prison for the beings who betrayed their creator, and their escape will mean the deletion of mankind. To succeed where gods failed, this boy who has known only suffering must answer the ultimate question: What is a god? If he cannot, there will be no one left to ask it, much less, answer.

Note from author

Enjoy it, if you can. But know my truest fulfillment comes not from your praise, but if you feel something real and resonant stir within you from my work. Then, it is all worthwhile.
