This story is to be devoured without moderation. One of those you eagerly await the updates for. One of those the only chapter you don't want to click is the last one because, then, there will be no more..

The first chapters don't fail to grip the reader with their peak funny depiction of a lovey-dovey couple which..... Soon shatters. For, despite a recent letter from Rondy, Shanna's Moonlight, when the young elf returns home to Floraleyse, she finds out that after a potion explosion he no longer loves his Sunlight.

The story gets really strong in exploring the pondering of Shanna about her love issues. Misunderstandings, clumsiness, hope, distress.... Shanna is a vivid character. And she can count on the other villagers inhabiting Floraleyse, for it's not only Shanna and Rondy, it's a whole endearing, unique, and epic cast which comes to life under WanderingSnow's quill. Merridee and her yearning for mysteries and, basically, big trouble. Mayor Bundy and his teary eyes, trying to blackmail someone over sweet drinks and desserts. Noelle torturing a bunch of pancakes, bitter at love. And many others. It's a delight to get to know them.

The only nitpick I'd make is that there's a certain scene which sounds a bit rushed regarding Shanna's reaction, based on the past build-up of her character. Felt a little bit off. But that's it.

Aside from that, Shanna has a great character dev, and following her during her misadventures is a pleasure. Her attempts to retrieve Rondy's love are hilarious. It's so funny you'll beg for more.

If you want a story that doesn't just focus on the main couple (without going astray either), with an air of mystery, a story where the world is alive, the villagers giving breath to the town they inhabit, then don't hesitate! Read this peak novel!!
