"Life is a joke that fails to be funny..."

Yoshio Koizumi lived a pretty decent life. He had a mother who loved him, friends who cherished him, and a girl who he thought was his soulmate.

When he and this girl leave their tree house at night while heading home—something goes terribly wrong. From then on Yoshio's been followed by 'The Demon of Misfortune' as he keeps on suffering no matter how much he tries to escape his hellish life.

Yoshio's story is about staying resilient even when life literally tortures you with unimaginable hardship and to move forward regardless, without losing your sanity.
