What starts off as a psych horror slowly turns into this insanely tragic story about trauma, love, and two deeply broken people trying to save each other in the worst ways possible.

Tsubasa is SUCH a good character once everything clicks into place, especially the reveal about his past and why he became a reaper. I also appreciate the way Yua was written in terms of development and the slow descent into madness. I also don’t really see mute MCs that often in novels so this was kind of a breath of fresh air when it comes to an fmc. I respect that a lot of the story revolves around how teenagers are still children who need to be protected and how you can’t save others if you can’t save yourself first.

Also that final 4th wall break??? actually insane. This is one of those stories that leaves u thinking after finishing it.
