What does that even mean? Kasuga Teru is only half sure himself.
He never really thought about what his idea of a perfect dream date would be. And with his studies now taking over his life, he definitely has less time than ever to consider finding out.
That is, until one rainy day, when he had a chance encounter with the mysterious Keina, in the most unlikely of places.
Now, with the two of them going out, albeit with one third-party objection, they set out on the best dates that they can imagine.
A get-together on the rooftop at school? A study session at the library? Skipping that ridiculous hour-long line for the latest trending cake at the cafe? A trip for two on a cruise?!
All to find what exactly is...

This is my entry for the MyAnimeList x Honeyfeed Writing Contest 2026 - NOVELOUS Worlds.
This was the first time I've ever written a story of this length, and also sharing it for others to read. I ended up being a bit of a latecomer, and what was supposed to be a simple project to dip my hands into the world of webnovel posting ended up becoming a massive undertaking on the scale of NaNoWriMo... Which may have deviated far from the intended route, ahahaha....
I hope that, regardless, the story I ended up creating is something that can be enjoyed. There were many chapters I enjoyed writing, and I hope that I was able to convey that energy well.
