It's a wild ride from beginning to end. Something is always happening and you never get a chance to be bored. It could easily be 3 or 4 times as long.

Angel is relatable, the other girls are fun, the villains are engaging. What is really happening is slowly revealed, and when it is it actually makes sense! You can tell the author really wanted everything to make sense at the end. It's not scary in a "I'm the boogeyman and I'm coming to get you!" way, but it would break your brain if it happened to you in real life.

The only downside is that it's kind of like riding a really fast roller coaster. There is so much crammed into one book that you can get desensitized when something is always happening. That said, I'll take 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag over 4 ounces in the same bag all day everyday.
