Synopsis

Some people die for honor. Others die for a cause. Riku Alison just wants to get paid.
A century ago, the Great Mutation turned Earth into a "Drowning World." Riku learned early: heroism is stupidity, selflessness is death, people are selfish.
The only warmth he's known is his mother, Lily. He watched her break herself for others. So Riku made a cold decision: buy her safety.
Then a massive rupture tears open the sky over the Northern District.
Zones—reality-warping anomalies—are spreading. Bodies pile up. Riku gets pulled into SACH: an elite task force of "saviors" who fight for strangers.
To Riku, it's insane.
But staying invisible isn't an option. If he's going to survive—if he's going to keep Lily safe—he needs to move. He needs to get paid. He needs to do what it takes.
In a drowning world where debts are paid in blood, Riku discovers the line between survival and sacrifice isn't as clear as he thought.

Note from author

Hey, I'm 1R.
POWERSACH is my first serialized story. It's about a cynical broke guy trying to protect the only person who matters to him—and discovering that sometimes the most selfish decision is the most costly one.
Fair warning: Riku isn't likeable at first. He's cynical, blunt, and uncomfortable. But that's the point.
You'll meet prodigies, saviors, and people with their own agendas—all trying to survive in a drowning world. Some will surprise you. Some will break you.
Stick around if you're into morally grey protagonists, power systems with real consequences, and character-driven action.
Thanks for reading. Let's drown together.
