What if "the apocalypse" turned into a job?

Sure, billions are dead, and some smaller nations were completely wiped out - but rent is still due this week, and illegal Diving for Duplicates is pretty lucrative.

The worst kind of apocalypse is the kind where you still have to go to work tomorrow.
For some, the mere thought is too hard to stomach, and so the Divers both legal and illegal enter the Anomalous Zones which appear at random, and disappear violently.

In the Anomalous Zones, if you don't watch your step, you can fall off a building despite being on the ground floor a moment ago. You can drive onto a weakened bridge and get crushed. Localized spatial anomalies will happily eviscerate you, and so will raiders - for fun and profit.

Simply put, there are many ways to die in the Zones, not to mention the mutants!
