My name is Igor Santágueda, and I am the author of the light novel Suicide High School. I know the title is striking, but the story explores the hardships and pressures of academic life, a subject that holds special meaning to me. It doesn't in any way promote suicide, quite the opposite.
Writing became a way for me to process and cope with some of the unfair experiences I faced during that period of my life. Because of that, I wanted the characters to feel as authentic and relatable as possible while still embracing the style and appeal of a light novel.
I was heavily inspired by Shōgo Kinugasa, the creator of Classroom of the Elite. If you're a fan of his work, I hope you'll find something to enjoy in mine as well.
I'll be posting a new chapter every week, and if I'm feeling especially inspired, I might drop two chapters in one go.
