Synopsis

The Heavenreach

No one knows how tall Heavenreach truly is. Some say it rises beyond the atmosphere and into the endless darkness of space. Others believe it stretches all the way to the heavens themselves.

For over a thousand years, countless adventurers have attempted to conquer the mountain or reach its summit, but it's failed. Not a single climber has ever returned.

Throughout history, countless lives have been lost to the mountain, including Miru's father, who disappeared during an expedition fifteen years ago. While everyone else accepted that those who climbed Heavenreach were gone forever, Miru refused to believe it. Deep in his heart, he was convinced that his father was still alive somewhere beyond the clouds, waiting to be found.

After years of relentless training, Miru decides to begin the impossible ascent not only to search for his father, but also to uncover the truth behind the world's most mysterious peak.

Note from author

To everyone who decided to embark on this journey with The Heavenreach, thank you.

This story began with a simple question: What if there was a mountain so impossibly tall that no one who climbed it ever returned? From that single idea grew a world filled with mystery, hope, fear, and the unbreakable will to keep moving forward.

Through Miru’s journey, I wanted to explore more than just adventure. I wanted to tell a story about courage in the face of the unknown, the pain of loss, and the strength found in perseverance. Like every story, this one is not perfect. It was written with passion, imagination, and countless hours of effort. I hope the characters, the world, and the emotions stay with you long after you turn the final page.

Thank you for giving this story a place in your time and imagination. I hope you’ll continue climbing Heavenreach with Miru until the very end.

See you at the summit.
