After solving the centuries long conflicts of her homeland in the north and defeating the dreaded Red Bear, The newly dubbed World's Greatest Saint, Freydis Eisbar, begins a journey south to rid the world of it's stagnation and refusal to move beyond the past.

However, ignistadt's Saint Elysa, who felled the demon king is obsessed with maintaining the way things are all for the sake of "not disrupting the story" and enacts the perfect plan to stop Freydis. If she was physically an unstoppable monster, she just had to challenge her some other way, so she sent her an invitation to Ignistadt's royal academy.

At her final stop before Ignistadt. Freydis receives this invitation from disgraced noble Lyn Wolkingram. However, there are a few problems made apparent by this interaction, she's never been to any school before so her knowledge in many subjects is lacking, Ignistadt is a much hotter place than Hildale, and her no-nonsense personality is one repugnant to nobility.
