Gwen Vanderick was supposed to attend an anime convention for her thirtieth birthday. Instead, she wakes up in another world in the body of the villainess in an anime that she watched called Love & Danger.

With her reputation in ruins, Gwen realizes that there is nothing left to keep her tied to the plot. So, instead, she decides to live a simple life: to become an adventurer and earn some money to be able to travel and find a way back home.

Of course, things are never that simple, especially when there are dangerous dungeons, new magic to learn, and irritating monsters to fight. Despite the danger, Gwen slowly starts creating a new life for herself.

However, even though she changes the story, it does not mean that there is no plot anymore. There is somebody who follows her every step, trying to put everything back on track.
