In a kingdom where monsters are feared and despised, Nora Littleroot is hopelessly obsessed with them—slimes especially.

Accidentally forging history’s first soul contract by friendship, not battle, she’s taken to an academy for summoners alongside her new summon, Pudding, a tiny Blue Slime born with a defective mana core.

As a clumsy, shy country girl with an unusual view of monsters, Nora struggles to fit into an academy where strength is everything, monsters are treated as tools, and slimes are ridiculed as the weakest of them all.

But after spending thousands of hours studying monsters, Nora knows the others couldn’t be more wrong. Armed with her extensive knowledge of monsters, her unorthodox approach to magic, and her unbreakable bond with Pudding, she’s determined to climb the academy rankings and prove that even the weakest monster can become something extraordinary.
