After an accident destroys her home, Ria moves to a new city, where she continues her studies to control all her powers fully. The last gift of her former mentor helps her stay in control, but she doesn’t know whether it will hold or fail the same way her first collar did. She hopes to find the answers to that in Volasis, a city that is supposed to be a green paradise within a volcanic landscape.
