Shunpei had only ever known life as an orphan until one day he got adopted into royalty. Just days later he woke up and discovered the entire castle deserted. On the throne, a royal scroll left by the previous king read, "Hereby we announce Shunpei as King of Midgard!"

Now in the face of adversity, he had to save the kingdom from the brink of ruin. But it’s in a worse state than he could have ever imagined. Awaiting his impending doom, he remembered his four childhood friends and wished he could go back to those easier times.
