Princess Mathilda is the hero who defeated the Demon Lord… She pulled his soul into the Infinity Mirror, and the two of them were exiled from the world forever. Or at least, that was the plan.

Mathilda wakes up in the weak, hapless body of Aiko. No longer a hero, and in a world she does not recognize or understand. A world with land lords, public bath houses, espresso, convenience stores, and pagers.

Trying to figure all that out might be bad enough, but now she has an overbearing childhood friend to deal with, needs to find a job before she runs out of money, and (oh yeah) it looks like somehow the demons have followed her through...
