In the suburban streets of Uji, Kyoto, Sato Raichi, a bookworm at his finest, has been on a consistent track record of being interpreted as a withdrawn nobody, and ever since he had been away from said suburban streets, that impression has stuck. After returning to his hometown and reuniting with his two childhood friends Suzuki Nao and Kimura Hiroshi, he decides to visit the local park where he had grown up.

In the park, on his usual bench under the ginkgo tree, he encounters a certain girl sitting there. And the steps he takes afterward are about to quietly change the course of his life, affecting his entire outlook on high school in its entirety.

A romantic slice of life light novel, telling the tale of a coming-of-age story about two bookworms; dealing with gossip, maintaining friendships, and handling memories that still cling. Experience Raichi's high school life through his lens as he slowly starts to welcome this new part of his life, which he will look back on one day.
