Upon a lakeside island, in a dilapidated temple, lays a sword set in stone. However, the hero never comes to fetch the sword. Instead, so much time passes that the stone itself claims the sword for her own. Given flesh, or at least the appearance of a human, the stone sets out to prove that she can be a hero, too. Not because she has the sword, but because she is as worthy as any other.
