Demons ruled the world since its inception. First at the dawn of mankind, where they enslaved the humans and made them build a whole new world for them to indulge, and then after the human revolt that interrupted their ruling for a few decades. This act of defiance was the trigger for a new war that lasted centuries, between the remaining survivors of humanity that were driven to the sterile edges of the world and the Demon Lord and its undead army.
