Horitaka, a renowned scientist came from a family of scientists who had contributed to save the lives of the people of the Earth. Horitaka built the most prodigious invention ever. He created something that people had been yearning for centuries ‘A Time Machine’. He held a ceremony to introduce his invention to the world. On the same day, Horitaka’s wife Miho was admitted to the hospital as she was expecting a child. Shortly before the moment he was about to introduce it to the world, the earth beneath started shaking. Everyone on whom Horitaka could lay his eyes on died in front of him. Mio had already given birth and she rushed to the ceremony with all the little strength she possessed. She wanted Horitaka to look at his son for once. Just the moment she was able to find Horitaka, the ground beneath her ripped apart. Miho along with her baby got swallowed by it right in front of Horitaka. Now, he travels back in time to save his wife and son but a far bitter world awaits him.
