Mathematics is the official religion of the city-state of Mu. Equations and formulas permeate every citizen's daily life and guide them in every detail.
The Mathematician is the country's supreme leader. Every day, his sacred task is to create meticulous, personalized schedules for each inhabitant of the realm, which must be followed to the letter, without exception.
The level of detail is so precise that it includes minute-by-minute instructions, from what time each person should wake up, eat, sleep, and wash, even to love.
Unwavering faith in the exactness of the calculations leads the overwhelming majority to accept the city master's directives without hesitation or contestation. Submissive, the people have ceased to be the protagonists of their own lives and have become mere will-less robots.
But the youths Lÿarah and Alex will fight against this oppression in search of true freedom.
