Cross the Dimensions follows Jason Parstenach and Timey, the Herrscher of Time, as they enter a shattered dimension to trace mysterious cries of agony. At the Outpost, observers Miri, Yoko, and Sakura unveil a world of layered realities. A photograph of Setsuki Tasogare draws Jason into the Fourth Dimension, where he confronts his guilt, destroys a monstrous embodiment of misery, and learns their world is a story written in reality. Setsuki begs him to save his trapped daughter, Saturday. Moved, Jason agrees to aid Miri’s perilous rescue mission, ready to defy fate itself.
