Synopsis

When you lose everything, darkness stops being your enemy. It becomes your greatest ally.

Ronald has hit rock bottom when he accidentally frees Kahn, an ancient entity sealed inside a forgotten book for centuries. Now Kahn lives in Ronald's shadow, follows him everywhere, and sees what hasn't happened yet.

With glimpses of the future in his hands, Ronald starts turning the tables. He claws his way out of the wreckage of his life, breaks every streak of bad luck, and rises to become a pawn that dictates its own destiny.

But climbing out of the pit is only the beginning. Every step pulls Ronald toward broken souls bound to him by the red thread of fate. They are people on the verge of giving up, and they need someone to catch them before they fall.

A man who lost everything becomes the secret guardian of those with nothing left. And all the while, one question lingers in the dark: why was Kahn sealed away in the first place?

Note from author

Hello, I'm Hanxinel.

This story started from a simple question: What if your shadow knew your future before you did? The image of a glowing book on a wet road at midnight and a wolf made of smoke has been haunting me for months. I finally decided to write it down.

This is a dark fantasy about price, memory, and a shadow that is getting hungrier everyday.
English is not my first language, so please bear with me. I will update every Tuesday and Friday.

Thank you for reading!
Remember to add this to your library so you'll be the first to know about every new chapter update!
