When Stella woke up the next morning, the man she loved had vanished from reality.
Stella Strealia, a café barista, meets a scientist working on the Future Gate Project. As the weeks go by, they grow closer. Then one night, he asks Stella to join him beneath the stars.
He tells her that they will be able to see a beautiful night sky filled with the Milky Way and countless constellations. But after that night, the scientist suddenly disappears.
His photos on Stella's phone are gone. Nobody remembers his name. And when Stella asks the other scientists about him...
They tell her that there is no scientist named Cornelius Zii at ELRIS. The position of supervisor has been vacant for a long, long time.
A Small Note Before You Read This Novel.
You may notice that Stella always uses "you" when referring to Zii throughout her narration. You may also notice that some of the writing looks like the tenses are wrong or inconsistent.
But no, it's not an error, my friend.
If you notice that the narration consistently uses a certain tense or writing style, then you can assume it's intentional. But if something only appears once or twice... yeah, that might just be a human error.
