Synopsis

Madoka Ishikawa was just your typical everyday girl: sweet, kind, a bit socially awkward, and REALLY REALLY into football. Having started playing at eight, Madoka spent most of her childhood moving from place to place because of her father's job, which meant she mostly played the sport... by herself.

At fifteen, her family finally settles down in Hanamura, a small town far from their old home in Tokyo. And for the first time, Madoka has the chance to attend a school with a girls' football team.

So naturally, she's going to join it.

What Madoka doesn't know is that loving football by herself and playing football with a team are two very different things.

At Hanamura High, she'll meet girls with their own personalities, strengths, weaknesses, and ideas about the game. Together, they'll have to learn how to turn eleven individual players into something that resembles a team.

And for Madoka, this might be the first place she's ever called home.
