My Ideal Student Council Life Doesn't Exist After All

Since middle school, Seiichi Haraguchi had always been a rather timid person who was always unable to help people. His reluctance to take action often left him isolated or made fun of until one day, the middle school student council president at the time gave him valuable advice which made Seiichi believe even he could become someone useful.

A few years later in his first year of high school, Seiichi aimed to have an ideal student council life where he would be able to prove useful and be a part of a talented council. This goal, however, ended in failure when he completely messed up his speech and crashed out of the secretary elections. After two disheartening days, his life took a U-turn as Seiichi was suddenly presented with the secretary spot after an unexpected incident led to a vacancy. Eager to get to work and fulfill his ambitions, he accepts the job only to go on and realize that perhaps his ideal student council life doesn't exist after all...

Originally this was for the 2021 MAL x HoneFeed Competition but I was unable to work on it in time for the competition's end, however, I do plan on continuing this novel regardless so stick around!
