To the Girl who Loved Lemons

High school is something that I looked forward to and saw as ‘unforgettable adventures’. Although I never really understood what this certain person wanted in her life. She wanted to experience everything and speaks of ‘adventures’ but tends to spend her day living in the shadows and concept of love. Fawning and flirting over guys and spending most of her time with them. Makes me wonder what kind of ‘adventure’ she speaks of and turns out we both had different views of the word adventure.

Even so, underneath the stereotype people have given her, I am somehow only reminded of the time I met her. She wore those very curious eyes and that kind, sweet smile as she spoke to me softly. The scent of lemon wafted through the air as I snapped a picture of her that one time and that’s when I knew our adventures might be involved more than we expected.
