The low-life translator Kaveh Gransde decides to commit himself to a company that doesn't care about him. He accepts his life of mediocracy and drowns himself in alcohol and women. He writes in a journal only meant for his eyes; it describes all of his vices in great detail. HIs journey is filled with depravity, opulent bosses, unfair wages, and occasional happiness.
