This takes place in my home town and the surrounding areas which is very rural with pockets of mass suburbs. My small-sized town (1.5 mi²) has a population of about 5,000 and is 75% suburban housing 10% recreation (parks/baseball fields/soccer fields) 10% stores (we have strip-malls in the center of our town) and 5% farm (the owners of the farm have an ice-cream shop). Despite our towns size, we have multiple big names and small stores. Including 2 gas stations (one of which is a Wawa), 2 pizzerias, 2 Chinese restaurants, a Mexican restaurant, a BBQ meat restaurant, a Rita's, A McDonald's, Wendy's, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, 2 banks, multiple small health services (doctors, dentists, eye-doctors, chiropractors, etc.), Applebees, a pub, a pretzel factory, a Tractor Supply, and a huge ACME grocery store. The weirdest thing is the two decently sized hotels (Hampton inn. and Holiday inn.). All of this is due to one of the biggest industrial areas in the country right next-door to our town.
