Futoshi & The Snake Spirit

This story follows Yoba Futoshi, a teenaged boy (15) and deep in training, to become the greatest Samurai of all time. On the way to achieving that dream, he searches for his family's killer. All he knows and the only way of recognising him would be the scar that Futoshi left on his eye 7 years ago. There have been stories about a "one-eyed swordsman" but Futo knows not of his true name. Futo thinks that he is all alone, but he soon finds that is not the case.
Futoshi comes from a family of highly skilled swordsmiths and his grandfather "Yoba Toyotomi " was the one to forge the 3 legendary swords known as Goki meaning spirit, Getsumei meaning moonlight, and Haru meaning spring. These swords were said to have been scattered around Japan and only to be used again by the most worthy of swordsmen.

My inspiration for this story was Takehiko Inoue's manga series "Vagabond"
I have little - no experience with writing so I have no idea how this will turn out.
