The Princess And The Dark Knight

The dreaded and feared Commander of the Dark Knights was suddenly given a flower by a young girl; the future princess of Alsmar. Years later, when the Commander returned, the princess had grew up and no longer remembered the Commander she gave the flower to. Undeterred by this, the Commander swore to protect the princess, even if it kills her.

This is a short story/oneshot? about a so-called emotionless knight trying to befriend a princess who is afraid of her. It is sweet, gory, funny, dark, and may be made into an actual series or something if this is well-liked. This is my first attempt at making a short story/oneshot? This story was heavily inspired by a picture I saw. If I do bad, then I am sorry.

This is a short story from the world of Nostalisk, which is a world of endless war. I'm trying to finish this in four parts. Hopefully this isn't too confusing or long.
