Synopsis

Many years ago, it was discovered that certain people were born with special gifts. Conjuring fireballs, flying, transforming into cats, countless unique and extraordinary powers that came to be known as "Naturia".

To provide an outlet for the Gifteds who were born with these Naturia, the kingdom of Autoria established a system of guilds where all Gifted were free to use their Naturia for the benefit of their fellow citizens.

Ever since the Cataclysm shook the nation 13 years ago, the need for the guilds has only increased. With hungry Emergents prowling the countryside, strong Gifteds and Mages must unite under their banners or risk falling to the monsters in the dark.

The Guardians are one such guild. New though they may be, their talented leader Sarah Dawn stands as tall as any guild master, always willing to lend a hand to aid those who need it most. That's the duty of a guild.

To be a protector of the people.

To be a helper of the helpless.

To be a guardian.

Note from author

This story is an experimental piece I've been conceptualizing for years, set in a setting outside of my usual fare. It has potential to go on for a long, long time but I will determine when I bring it to an end depending on interest to hear more of the story.
