Aurora and her husband live together in a most shaky marriage. Aurora struggles with mental illness, and her husband struggles with debt. He can no longer afford the resources needed to maintain her mental well being. Regardless, she promised to never kill herself. She always keeps her promises, unfortunately.
This is a short story I wrote many years ago. I wrote it while I was in high school and have not made many edits to it since. I have not done much with it since writing it, so I figured I'd upload it here as a oneshot before uploading bigger works that I've planned out.
