An Eden from the Ashes

Far into the future, human society has crumbled due to the consequences of its advancements. Pollution runs rampant, wars are fought all around the world, and most necessary resources have all but run out. In a last ditch attempt to rescue humanity from its inevitable doom, a cooperative government operation creates a hyper-intelligent AI called Adam to try and find a solution to the global crisis. But when Adam refuses to help humanity it is up to government negotiator Steven Cross to convince the AI there is still hope for humanity.

As the philosophical debates between the two continue, will Steven be able to convince the AI to save humans, or will his own faith in humanity begin to crumble.

Pretty much first time writing a creative piece, but I'm confident enough in my stories so I hope I'm able to tell them right.
