I Woke Up In A Different World, But Not The World I Was Expecting!

After 25 years of being a manager at a chain store, Daichi Orio can’t help but feel disappointed and unsatisfied with how his life has turned out. One day, he rediscovers his childhood manga collection, which reignites his childlike amazement of fictional worlds, as he’d much prefer to be in an epic land of swords and sorcery rather than his mundane daily life in Kyoto.

Daichi’s wish… somewhat comes true? Except.. replace the swords and sorcery with futuristic guns and cyborgs. Adopting the name “Daemon,” he sets out to discover how he even ended up in this world. Was he reincarnated? Did a god send him here with a purpose? If so, what is that purpose? Regardless, he intends to make the most of his new life. He is no longer the boring “Daichi,” but instead whoever he decides to be, as “Daemon.”
