In the midst of a peaceful time between the two countries— Esteria and Nollemna, something strange is brewing. Princess Renielle happens to overhear the conversation between the king and the minister; and frankly she couldn't believe it; they were plotting to marry her off to the very same Nollemnian prince who had took away Renielle's sister years ago!
Unforgiving and relentless, Renielle sets off to the city's border walls to secure a way out and hopefully, to a place far away, where she can live her life at peace.
Unfortunately, her daydreams come to an end as a patrol guard catches her snooping around. Alen, a cynical and strange fellow who has goals of his own and an annoyingly sharp eye to boot.
