The Butterfly That Flew Across The Ocean

Life in Osaka was amazing for 18 year old Kasumi. Her family was well off, with her dad being a best selling author and her mom owning a beauty supply company. At school her popularity was unmatched due to her unique beauty by being the only mixed race student, along with being the captain of the girls basketball team. She was cheerful, charming and had a smile that did nothing but make you feel happy inside. It was hard to find someone that didn't like Kasumi, she was easily living a teenage dream...until she wasn't anymore. Kasumi's parents suddenly decided they couldn't be together anymore and filed for divorce. Her Father moved to Toronto, leaving Kasumi and her mother behind. Her mother fell into depression and eventually lost her company. After hearing what happened her father asked for Kasumi to come live with him so she can could be in a more stable environment. Now in a new city and new school, a little butterfly goes on a journey of self discovery...a place to start over.
