“Beneath The Surface” is a story about a group of teens who were taken from their parents at birth and have been secretly held in a lab for experimenting. One day the main character (Mino Hanamura) wakes from his artificial made world and discovers what his life truly is and that just about everyone he knows including his own mother is just an A.I. He realizes he needs to escape and free the others trapped in that world without letting the agents in his artificial world know he is aware of the truth.
I currently have two chapters of this story written in script format. The main idea around it is that we as humans live in a simulation and the story will show the emotions and feelings of someone who has their entire life ripped away from them by simply waking up.
