Former Special Forces agent, Mirai sees the world around her as fleeting and detached. Only finding the energy to engage with it through the tireless efforts of her sister, Yukue. But when Yukue suddenly disappears hardly a drop of evidence, reality starts to rear its ugly head once again, and Mirai finds her past catching back up with her… For better and for worse.

Lacking initiative from the authorities, Mirai is forced to rely on her skillsets, an old teammate, and a strange AI to track down Yukue and unravel the tangled strings behind her disappearance, as well as the oddities of the mysterious town her sister lives in. But is she failing to see the world for what it actually is?
