That morning Lucie awoke worrying about the end of the vacation period and the missing of her homework tasks while his robot maiden stood still and smiled to her kindly with her clean new uniform clothes at hand. She remembered the intriguing last words of her classroom teacher and wondered why she even cared about studying when all his friends were playing in the beach right now without a worry in the world. "If I knew it was going to be so boring I should have not signed" she thought. But she could leave whenever she felt, she didn't have to work, she didn't even have to study, she could indulge in living in the beach she was staying with the minimum universal citizen stipend that was available for all in this perfect society and nobody would question her. This was the perfect society that had survived the last world war: only happiness existed in the world now for the human beings.
