Whispers of Reality

This is the story of how a depressed 17 year old discovers the reality of the horrific world he lives in.

Iroh Linag is a high-schooler living in Spokane, Washington who skips school and works instead. His home life isn't ideal nor is his vision of life going forward. He falls into the idea that his life is a cyclical mess. One day, he receives a text to hang out with some former friends of his. There is a mysterious lingering trauma between him and his friends, but he goes through with it only to realize it was a bait and switch. It's a scheme for popularity and he's been invited to join in. Under the assumption that the warnings of the world are false, he falls victim to a horrific scene. In the worst way possible, he's discovered just what type of horrors exist in the world.

This is my first novel I'm deciding to publish publicly. I'll be updating it at least 3 times a week for the duration of August for the MAL contest and go from there. I will be reading any comments left and greatly appreciate them :)
