BOOK 1 - Call the Watch!
So long ago that no one cares to remember, having realised that [Adventurers] make for poor keepers of the peace, the [Politicians] of Upartesk decided to take some [Guards] off the walls of the city and charge them with keeping society in check.

Now, the Watch is on the rise, recovering from a history of self-serving [Watchmen]. [Politicians] publicly sing their praises and shower them in funding.

There's no rest for the wicked though. The dirty underbelly of the city carries on ticking away. And a series of unfortunate events bad choices often leave even the most good-natured of people with nothing to lose.
