Ethereal: the Thief and the Knight in the Shadow of Tyranny

Eth is a thief, and stealing things is his occupation. But it just so happens that the latest things his grubby hands get on are two of the most coveted items in the kingdom- The Garments of King William van Mareaux! Eth is labeled as a top-tier criminal and has an entire army baring its fangs on him. Can he actually pull off the heist of a lifetime? And... what's the deal with those garments? One fits him perfectly, but the other... who does it belong too?

Szuyuki Kawane holds a pointless job- he's a soldier in the army of a country that hasn't fought anyone in 100 years! As he gets on his dinner break, though, the job suddenly becomes less pointless as a group of black-clad soldiers invade his keep. As he panics and hides, the soldier that he'd be crushing on for a while, Kana Atachi, goes out of her hiding spot to fight. She's shot through the heart with a crossbow bolt, and Szuyuki's world starts to crumble.
Until she pulls the bolt out of her chest, unfazed.
