"... Bring someone with you in death." ^This one right here, from one abuser to the next. Before this line I liked the story just casually, but the twist elevated it for me. Death turning the woman herself into a manipulator and letting her loose on the next guy. Or girl. And she may not even notice she's turning into an abuser for the next guy. Or girl. I love those cyclical character developements. 😊
