He’s such a low level that for sure he could just farm EXP by killing a few slimes. I can totally imagine Asterion cheering him on in the background as he’s beating up sentient Jello to get stronger

The players he interacts with are real humans who just assume he’s an NPC they’ve never come across before. There’s gonna be a few interactions later on in the story between him and players. He is also unkillable (will respawn) but I’m sure he doesn’t want to get close enough to a monster to find out lol

Thank you!! It always bugs me when it takes a book/show up until the very end for the couple to get together so I'm hoping to speedrun the process
I was totally imagining Stardew Valley when writing this! And the world definitely needs more Plant Parents as heroes
